Has played almost every major blues festival including: East Coast Blues and Roots (becoming the second highest cd sellers!), Falls Fest, Apollo Bay, Gympie Muster, Pyramid Rock Festival, Narooma Blues and Rockabilly Fest and Nepean alongside artists like Joss Stone, Ben Harper, John Butler. Was shortlisted as a finalist for John Butler’s ‘JB Seed’ Grant & toured as support act with Xavier Rudd on his 2007 National Tour.

RELEASE DATE: 2007 - A compilation of two EP's recorded by the band.

Since Dallas Frasca (duo w/Jeff Curran) hit the scene in Jan 2006 when she released her debut solo EP ‘Acoustic Slide Groove’, she has obliterated 4 stomp boxes, cooked 2 P.A’s and melted one guitar amp, clocking up over 30,000kms of touring around Australia.

At the time she had no idea her music would cause the stir it has during the year. Acoustic Slide Groove won Frasca the JJJ’s ‘Light Your Fuse’ comp. They were nominated as a finalist for APRA’s prestigious Professional Development Award, 2006, was in May, shortlisted for the John Butler (JB Seed) grant award just one year of cultivating her slide guitars, vocals, spawned an artist performer of the highest calibre.

‘LEARN YOUR ROUTES’ Recorded by co-producer Dave Davis (Powderfinger, Midnight Oil, George) and mastered by internationally acclaimed Tony Mantz, a.k.a. ‘Jack the Bear’ (The Waifs, Hilltop Hoods, Jet, You Am I). Independently released, the two piece without kit are a wall of guitars and stomp box that delve into raw, double duelling slides, launching from a rock solid ground of roots influences. The opening track ‘Learn Your Routes’ assures listeners that there is only one Dallas Frasca, whilst ‘Thirst For Love’ shows the more sensitive side of her song writing. There is no wonder they’ve labelled her as ‘The Modern Day Janis Joplin’ with the inspirational, “Don’t Let No-One’ held only by Frasca’s mammoth vocals.

It feels and sounds natural and that’s what I’m into, real music, from the heart, a powerful blues voice, I’m feelin it.
    Carlo Santone (Blue King Brown)

Track Name: TAKE WHAT YOU NEED
Take What You Need

My lost friends walk in the dark,
Seeking good times to be had
They take from each situation
What they need and make it their own

We all draw inspiration,
Fitting in the pieces
In our own puzzle.
and the taste makes you crave for more

When the light shines, in the dark
we know everything is gonna be alright

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED, AND GIVE A LITTLE MORE

It's vicious the cycle,
Until a leap into the unknown
the confidence you gain is personal growth
all my friends that walk the good path are a fine select few

When the light shines, in the dark
we know everything is gonna be alright

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED, AND GIVE A LITTLE MORE
